It is best to work personally with our account executives (sales). Our goal is to fit the garment to your promotion. We will discuss garment type, garment color, ink or thread colors, size break downs, and art concepts. If you are a repeat client then you can fax or email your order. Please do not call in your order as we need it in writing to avoid mistakes. You can fax us @ 602-298-9711 or send your email to sales@fishmoore.net.
Screenprinting orders takes 10-14 days to complete, from the development of artwork to the final product. Embroidery orders are 3-4 weeks depending on the digitizing of your logo.
Screenprinting requires 2 dozen items or garments. This is due to the labor intensive process of setting up the print on the press and all of the subsequent clean-up involved. Embroidery requires a minimum order of 6 pieces for flat goods and 12 pieces for hats. This is because our machine has 6 sewing heads and we like to keep them all busy.
Our normal terms are 50% down and the balance on pick-up or delivery. On approval by the "powers that be" at Fishmoore, we can offer 7-30 days net after carefully reviewing your business. On large scale corporations, goverment agencies, and school districts we will accept purchase order numbers (PO's) with 30 days net. Due to our accounting procedures, we do not offer payment by credit card(s).
Screenprinting set-up fees cover the initial cost of making a silk screen for each color of your design. We charge $25.00 per ink color for a full size image and $15.00 for a pocket size image. Embroidery set-up fees are for digitizing, or plotting the path of the needle of your logo. Prices are based on the number of stitches in your design. The average charge for a pocket or hat logo is $85.00, while a full size logo can range from $150.00 to $300.00.
We specialize in creating custom logos and artwork. We provide quality original and authentic corporate identity logos and layouts. Our design/art charges are $65.00 per hour, with a 1 hour minimum. All art charges and logos are a one time charge and the logo is the clients to use for future printing on letterhead, business cards, envelopes, brochures, and etc.
You can mail us your art by "snail mail" or you can send us an email to
design@fishmoore.net. If these options are not convenient for you, we'll make some sort of arrangements to get your artwork in our hands.
To save time, the below following guidelines are suggested. Please contact us if you are unsure whether your art will work.
Art on Paper: Clean and crisp art at the final print size is recommended. Any deviation from this may require more art time or modifications by us. Art that is "ready" for use is provided in an electronic file that can be used for pre-press and printing without making any modifications from our end.
Computer Art:Vector art is recommended. This is art created in Illustrator, Corel Draw or Freehand. The fonts must be converted to outline or curves. Please include a .jpeg as a proof. Freehand files must be converted to an .eps file. Placed images must be included with the file. Bitmap files such as .tiff, .bmp or .psd are good for painted or photographic images. For best results the image must be created at 300dpi at the final print size. Images taken from the internet such as .jpeg or .giff are not recommended because they are usually too small. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us and we use the following applications on the Windows platform:
We sell all types of garments and brands specifically designed for the screenprinting and embroidery industry. Our brands include Gildan, Anvil, Jerzees, Champion, IZOD, Desert Wash, Columbia Sportswear, Hanes ..... the list goes on! We prefer that you do not. We work with a large variety of garment suppliers who sell items specifically designed for the decorated apparel industry. Because of seams, pockets, zippers, and material; many garments purchased over the counter are not print or embroidery friendly. When Fishmoore Screenprint-Design provides both the shirts and the decoration we stand behind our work and cannot do so if you provide the garments to us.
We have the ability to supply our clients with "on time" high quality screenprinting either on manual or automatic presses. Whether it's a simple one color job or a complicated multi-color image, we can handle it. Our exceptional attention to detail is given on every project with avoiding some of the normal production glitches or unforseen errors. Screenprinting involves a separate silk screen for each ink color which is then applied to the garment and then heated to cure and bond the ink to the garment. The end results at Fishmoore Screenprint-Design is to produce the highest quality of printwear and artwork for our clients.
